SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Jotun is expanding rapidly in Indonesia and seeking a dynamic professional to strengthen Operations teams as the Production Planning Specialist.Responsibilities:
Make realistic a production schedule for part of Production or for specific products for Segments by gathering and analyzing customer demand and transferring this demand to a daily plan by balancing between On Time in Full (OTIF), inventory levels, and production costs.
Develop and analyze KPIs relevant to the assigned area and support improvement initiatives.
Actively develop planning process by utilizing existing functionalities in Matrix as well as implementing new ones according to best practices for planning in Jotun Operations System.
Establish tight communication with Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, and Production to have the best information for the daily plan.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
What we look for:
Graduated from industrial engineering background would be advantageous
Minimum of 2-4 years’ planning experience in supervisory level with production in an engineering environment
Possess strong computer skills around the Microsoft Office
Able to work effectively and manage collaborative jobs
Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia with good verbal, written, interpersonal and organisational skills
Highly motivated, enthusiastic person and meticulous.
