For our site in Alzenau, we are looking for a Production Planner / Material Planner (m/w/d) to join our international Operations team.

Your Role

In this role, you will be part of our Production Planning team supporting complex manufacturing processes in the areas of OLED and PVD. You will focus on material planning, SAP-based production order handling and close coordination with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality and Engineering.

You will help ensure that materials, production orders and technical changes are processed smoothly and on time to support our assembly and manufacturing operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate materials for production and assembly processes

  • Create, manage and monitor production orders in SAP

  • Maintain and review bills of materials and related production data

  • Coordinate closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality and Engineering

  • Support Engineering Change Management and implement technical changes in ongoing production

  • Track deadlines, follow up on open topics and ensure smooth execution of production planning activities

  • Process quality notifications and non-conformities in SAP in cooperation with relevant departments

  • Contribute to process improvements within Production Planning and Operations

Your Profile

  • Experience in production planning, material planning, order management or a comparable operations-related role

  • Good knowledge of SAP, ideally in a production or material planning environment

  • Technical understanding and ability to work with technical documentation, BOMs and engineering-related changes

  • Background in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing, operations or a comparable technical/commercial environment

  • Experience in machinery, plant engineering, vacuum technology, cleanroom-related manufacturing or high-tech production is a plus

  • Strong organizational skills and a structured, analytical working style

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams

  • Fluent English skills are required

  • German skills sufficient for internal communication are desirable

  • Willingness to work regularly onsite in Alzenau
