Production Planner
The Production Planner will prepare layouts from which designs may be detailed to create production orders and cut sheets for automatic sliding/swinging doors, perform BOM and route changes to ensure accurate inventories and standards.  

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position. 


What You Will Do:

  • Manage daily production schedules.
  • Plan production schedules with field operations based on material availability and customer requirements.
  • Maintain database for easy retrieval of production scheduling information
  • Receive and interpret customer orders.
  • Create production orders to supply communications for programmers and production associates.
  • Schedule orders to build dates per lead time
  • Work closely with Buyer/Planner team by giving them orders to confirm inventory allotment to then schedule for production
  • Assist and advise plant operation associates during assembly, test, and evaluation of projects.
  • Respond to internal customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Understands BOM (Bill of Materials) and route to address before production orders are released to production floor

What You Need to Succeed:

  • HS diploma/GED
  • 3+ years of experience with scheduling in a manufacturing facility

Additional Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • D365 experience preferred
  • Advanced MS Office
  • CAD experience
  • Experience working in the Manufacturing industry
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to create team attitude and atmosphere by demonstrating professional working style and results-oriented work ethic
