Employment Type: Full‑Time (30 hours)
Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Sunday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
This early‑morning shift supports daily and weekend remittance processing deadlines.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Entry‑Level Remittance Operations Processor to support high‑volume payment processing. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with numbers, maintaining accuracy, and supporting essential financial operations. You will process, verify, and reconcile incoming payments while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Process incoming remittance transactions including checks, lockbox payments, and electronic remittances.
Accurately enter payment data into internal systems.
Verify payment details for completeness and accuracy.
Research and resolve payment discrepancies or missing information.
Reconcile daily transaction totals and prepare required reports.
Follow internal control procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Safeguard sensitive customer payment information.
Collaborate with team members and partner departments to resolve processing issues.
Meet daily productivity and accuracy standards.
Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in business, accounting, or finance is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable working with numerical data and repetitive tasks.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and follow structured operational processes.
Preferred Skills
Experience in remittance processing, banking operations, or office administration.
Familiarity with lockbox processing systems or financial transaction tools.
Understanding of basic financial controls or compliance procedures.
