Production Officer

Pakistan - Sindh - Karachi Full time

You will supervise and optimize packaging and production activities to meet quality, safety, and delivery targets. You will work closely with production teams, quality, engineering and planning to solve problems and improve processes. Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily packaging and filling operations to meet production plans and KPIs.
  • Manage batch documentation, including preparation, checking, reconciliation and timely submission.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Coordinate resources and workforce allocation to meet planned workload.
  • Lead line-level problem solving, report issues, and coordinate maintenance with engineering.
  • Train and coach team members on standard operating procedures and safe work practices.

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Pharm-D is required for this role
  • 2 -3 year of experience in production, packaging, or a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience working in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Ability to manage production documentation and reconcile batch records.
  • Good communication skills in English and Urdu to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with SAP or similar manufacturing/ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of quality systems such as deviation handling, change control and audit actions.
  • Training or experience in EHS (environment, health and safety) risk assessment and LOTO (lockout/tagout).
  • Strong coaching and people development skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with experience in basic problem-solving tools.
