Job Purpose
You will supervise daily production activities at our Pakistan manufacturing site. However, main role will be managing the dispensing operations, so the products are delivered and supplied in full and on time to the patients at the end of our supply chain in consideration of GSK Quality Policy and vision.
You will lead small teams to meet schedules while keeping quality, safety, and compliance central to every decision. You will work closely with planning, engineering, quality and EHS colleagues to solve problems and improve processes. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations mainly dispensing to meet schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
- Use SAP for material activity, Issuance and Good Receipt, dispensing data postings, documents and data management.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality systems and safety requirements.
- Coach and develop production technicians, including training on standard operating procedures and batch record management.
- Maintain accurate production records, perform in-process checks and support system postings such as SAP.
- Coordinate with engineering for preventive and corrective maintenance and resolve equipment issues.
- Lead continuous improvement activities to raise efficiency, equipment reliability and product quality.
Education, Experience and Skills
- Degree in Pharm-D, Bachelor in Science or equivalent relevant qualification.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or packaging operations will be preferred.
- Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment.
- Practical knowledge of production documentation and batch record management.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar manufacturing systems and basic MS Office skills.
- Understanding of EHS (environment, health and safety) principles and safe working practices.
- Experience in ointment, tablet, capsule, or packing operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages.
- Working knowledge of quality systems such as QMS and deviation handling.
- Comfortable working on-site full time at the manufacturing facility.
