How you will make contributions that matter...

  • Monitor plant sanitation operations in all areas, continually searching for methods to improve procedures and practices.  Troubleshoot concerns, optimize budget with cost effectiveness, identify and implement appropriate corrective measures in cooperation with supervisors and managers.
  • Develop, maintain and improve Sanitation Standard Operational procedures (SSOP) in accordance with Safety and GMP policies and regulations.
  • Promote Health and Safety for the plant by improving health and safety planning, problem-solving, communication, training, measuring effectiveness of programs, identifying gaps in performance and establish action plans, focus on incident prevention and continuous improvement, promote ownership of safety responsibilities and integrate health and safety strategies to contribute to profitability.
  • In coordination with HR and production supervisors, maintain regular employee safety and sanitation training and cross training, as necessary for the health and safety of plant personnel.
  • In coordination with the Plant Manager and HR, responsible for organization, delegation, assignment, follow up and corrective action, if needed, of functions within the production supervisor group, including but not limited to plant processes, supervisor scheduling, appraisals, etc.
  • In coordination with Plant Manager, QA and Maintenance, involvement with plant audits, inspections, and special projects as needed.

You are best suited for the role if you…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Dairy Technology, Management or related field.  Five or more years’ equivalent experience and training considered- preferably in the dairy industry.
  • Ability to lead, influence and inspire people to promote quality, safety and teamwork.
  • Strong communication along with analytical skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of CIP systems.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, Power Point.  Proficiency with technology and willingness to learn and utilize company programs (Link 360, Maintenance Connection, etc.)
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, to include weekends and holidays as necessary

Compensation Range: $89,695 - $112,120
