As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of manufacturing operations, including production, engineering, quality, and maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with company policies and operational objectives. You will play a critical role in delivering high‑quality products on time and at the expected cost, while fostering effective labor relations and a safe, efficient production environment.

This role requires strong people leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to manage performance through defined metrics in a high‑volume manufacturing setting.

About Your Job

  • Lead and manage manufacturing operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and operational objectives.

  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels with qualified personnel to support production requirements.

  • Drive the execution of production schedules, meeting delivery timelines, quality standards, and cost objectives.

  • Administer labor relations policies and effectively address employee concerns and grievances.

  • Promote effective communication and harmonious working relationships between supervisors and production employees.

  • Ensure compliance with company rules, regulations, and operational standards across the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations Management
Ensure production programs are executed on time, meeting quality, cost, and customer requirements.

People Leadership & Labor Relations
Manage labor relations policies, resolve employee complaints, and promote a positive and collaborative work environment.

Budget & Cost Control
Develop and manage annual operating budgets, ensuring adherence to approved limits and proper financial discipline.

Manufacturing Improvement & Engineering Collaboration
Partner with Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering to initiate requisitions for machinery, tools, and equipment, and to develop improved manufacturing methods, layouts, and techniques.

Materials, Scrap & Quality Control
Oversee material receipt and inventory levels, while investigating and addressing the root causes of scrap, delays, and defective work.

Policy & Compliance
Interpret and enforce company policies, rules, and regulations to ensure operational compliance and consistency.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree completed (any discipline).

  • 3–5+ years of experience in industrial operations, including leadership or supervision within a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

  • Proven experience managing production teams and manufacturing performance through established metrics.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, influence, and engage employees effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify areas of opportunity within quality management systems (QMS/SGC).

  • Negotiation and administrative skills, as applicable.

  • Ability to work consistently within defined procedures and operational standards.
