Position Overview:
Successful candidates will have prior demonstrated success in developing and maintaining productive relationships with customers, stakeholders, and peers, as well as strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to take initiative, and the ability to partner across multiple engineering functions, business segments, and geographic areas. They will also have prior experience working in high-paced critical-flow production environments and a proven track-record of being adaptable to changing demands.
All candidates will be considered based on the strength of their Production Engineering and/or Materials & Processes background, breadth and depth of experiences, and educational background. Travel to other locations domestically and internationally may be required.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead production engineering teams with a commitment to safety, quality and integrity.
Develop and maintain high-trust relationships with all customers, peers, and direct reports; meet commitments to all stakeholders.
Develop and execute integrated program plans, policies and procedures; provide input on business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Manage operational budgets
Partner with Production, Materials & Processes, and Industrial Engineering skill teams to acquire and retain skilled employees to execute statement of work
Manage, develop and motivate employees and front-line leaders.
Ensure continuous production support to enable safe, stable, and standard production system operations across all shifts
Work Authorization:
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Portland, OR.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
3+ years of experience working directly in a manufacturing environment (fabrication or assembly factories).
1+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience as a Production, Materials & Processes (M&P), or Industrial Engineer or leading teams of Production / M&P / Industrial Engineers.
Experience partnering with global, geographically diverse teams.
Willing to travel 25% of the time both domestically & internationally as required by the business.
