Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams responsible for the development, sustainment, and continuous improvement of Mods and Conversions system. Elements include but are not limited to: process engineering, manufacturing support, build plan development and oversight, and introducing new technology.
  • Partner with Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support and improve the execution of Modification and Conversion projects.
  • Oversee the program Design and Build Integration which includes creation and integration of the manufacturing build plan.
  • Partner with Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support and improve the execution of Modification and Conversion projects.
  • Responsible for final bill of material reconciliation and documentation of the completed product.
  • Ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to communicate task progress and challenges within team and with technical leadership, both internal and external.
  • Partner with Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support and improve the execution of Modification and Conversion projects.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Aerospace experience
  • 3+ Year’s of experience in a Manufacturing or production environment
  • 3+ Year’s of experience leading or managing teams
  • Experience with planning and managing project schedules and budgets

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

  • Experience with PDM, ENOVIA, CATIA V5 and DELMIA
  • Knowledge of one or more airplane systems (e.g. Airframe, Avionics, Components, Power plant, Structures, Interiors).
  • Experience with manufacturing engineering and work instruction release process.

Summary pay range: $151,300 -$204,700
