Summary of Position:
tier project delivery, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This role focuses on elevating production standards, optimizing resources, and fostering team development. The Production Director partners closely with senior leadership while managing key client relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery
- Supervise the delivery of complex, high-profile projects from concept to execution, reviewing budgets, production schedules and staffing assignments
- Establish and enforce production standards and best practices to ensure operational excellence
- Serve as a strategic problem-solver, managing escalations and offering proactive solutions
- Manage projects in their pre-kick-off phase inclusive of venue/vendor research, R1 budget, reviewing ideation from a feasibility POV and joining all internal and external calls
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a senior liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and execution
- Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and long term engagement
- Guide teams in managing client expectations, scope, budgets, and timelines with confidence
- Work closely with department leads on proactive ideation and active project work
- Partner with Group leadership to align on client needs and project scope
- Financial Accountability
- Partner with accounts team lead and financial team to allocate funds and manage overall spend within the retainer
- Update financial documents on a regular basis in conjunction with production accounting team
- Review all reconciliations before they are closed out and shared with accounts / clients
- Work with finance team to push out all vendor / venue payments
- Budget & Resource Management
- Ensure all projects meet profitability targets while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Oversee resource allocation across assigned projects, optimizing efficiency and team bandwidth, bringing in the right team members to support / lead programs where necessary
- Ensure optimal use of internal and external resources to meet project goals
- Team Management
- Provide leadership to maintain team performance and inspire a high performing teams
- Monitor team progress and offer guidance through regular (weekly and bi-monthly) check-ins
- Review status of team’s work and provide guidance where necessary
- Support existing development plans and ensure continuity of team growth initiatives
- Maintain a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of proven production experience in the experiential or event industry
- Strong operational and leadership experience within an agency or production environment
- Ability to manage complex, large-scale projects with diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of industry best practices and compliance requirements
Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time while working remotely and in a standing position 50% or more of the time while working offsite
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Have a valid Driver’s License
- Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally heavier items
- Available to work weekends and evenings as needed for events
Location: We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York. The ideal candidate is located in any of our hub locations, however, we will consider remote candidates for this role.

Salary Estimation:
This is a full-time, temporary role (approx. 6 months) to provide leave coverage.
NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities.
