About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Designer to support the creation and delivery of high-quality print and digital materials that uphold brand excellence and consistency. The ideal candidate combines technical precision with creative insight, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a thorough understanding of production workflows.

Working closely with the communications and creative teams, the Production Designer transforms creative ideas into polished, production-ready materials across multiple platforms—including print, packaging, web, email, motion, and social media.

What You’ll Do

  • Typesetting & Layout: Format, style, and arrange text within layouts with precise attention to kerning, leading, and tracking for clarity and balance.

  • File Preparation: Prepare final, press-ready files based on print and digital specifications; troubleshoot technical issues to ensure production accuracy.

  • Applying Revisions: Implement design changes based on feedback from designers, art directors, and other stakeholders, maintaining version control and quality.

  • Quality Assurance: Review final copy, layouts, and graphics to confirm alignment with brand standards and technical requirements.

  • Image & Graphic Manipulation: Perform retouching, color correction, and compositing to enhance visual consistency and image quality.

  • Proofing & Production Checks: Manage production proofs, conduct press checks, and collaborate with vendors to ensure accurate final output.

  • File & Asset Management: Maintain organized digital files, fonts, images, and project archives for efficient workflow and future use.

  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with vendors and stakeholders to align creative and technical objectives.

  • Troubleshooting: Resolve design and printing challenges quickly and efficiently.

  • Brand Stewardship & Improvement: Uphold visual identity standards and stay current with design trends, production technologies, and workflow best practices.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience as a Production Artist, Graphic Designer, or in a similar creative production role.

  • A portfolio demonstrating technical precision, design quality, and strong typographic skills.

  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop

  • Strong understanding of pre-press production, color management (CMYK, RGB, spot color), and digital standards.

  • Knowledge of web and motion design tools, such as HTML5 and Adobe After Effects, is a plus.

  • Exceptional attention to detail—ensuring accuracy in alignment, color, and resolution.

  • Knowledge of photography techniques and photo editing best practices.

  • Strong knowledge of color theory, typography, and design principles.

  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills to meet tight deadlines across multiple projects.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and find solutions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with creative teams, developers, and vendors.

Pay Range:$74,100---$100,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
