Job Summary: THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER T32, PDD1255000 and PDD1259000 and is part of the AZ FMS1, National Guard.

Major Duties:

  • This position is located at Field Maintenance Shop (FMS #1) in Phoenix, Arizona. The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance production management, to achieve or maintain desired production levels, to serve as an equipment readiness expert for units supported by the facility, and to provide technical guidance and oversight to a lower-graded Production Controller. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

Qualifications: Military Grades: Enlisted: E3/PFC-E9/SGM/CSM Warrant Officer Candidate: WOC Compatible Military Assignments: Enlisted: 88M, 91 series, 92 series, or 94 series MOS Warrant Officer Candidate: 88M, 91 series, 92 series, or 94 series MOS SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-07: 1-year equivalent to at least next lower grade level of experience, education or training working with people from various levels and backgrounds. Experience with a general knowledge of the functions and procedures of production control, records, references, and techniques for developing production control data. Experience assisting or maintaining workflow. GS-09: 1-year equivalent to at least next lower grade level of experience, education or training scheduling workflow in more than one area and responsible for coordinating products or materials from support activities. Experience in performing or supervising journeyman level work in a production facility. Experience preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc.
