Salary Range: $90838 - $118092 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS) in the Submarine Project Office (156), Submarine & Surface Ship Repair Division of SUPSHIP.

Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the central point of contact on all matters pertaining to assigned projects.
  • You will act as the business agent for SUPSHPNN with other command/activities on assigned projects.
  • You will analyze requests to add/delete work from the work package to determine the probably effect to the ship's overall schedule.
  • You will be responsible for contracting with other commands to provide services and products utilizing the Master Nuclear Support Agreement, Basic Ordering Agreement and various other types of contracting documents.
  • You will act as financial manager for all funding on assigned projects and assures that funds are adequately and timely provided to prevent impact to work.
  • You will coordinate the accomplishment of tasks related to assigned projects, anticipates and assist in preventing delays and in resolving problems which can affect cost, schedule, and performance of contract schedules.
  • You will review proposed changes to the work package for technical accuracy of documentation and make initial determination as to whether the proposed change is compensable under terms and conditions of contract.
  • You will establish procedures doe the overall coordination of key events such as docking/undocking, fast cruise and ship's trails and arranges for required services, schedules, agenda test forms and trial riders.
  • You will coordinate the support of ship's force and the contractor as required to conduct sea trials.
  • You will conduct and participate in meetings, briefings, and conferences with upper management of both contractor and government personnel.
  • You will process complex and caried changes which affect the configuration and delivery dates of the ship.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Production Controller with demonstrated submarine repair and project knowledge and experience including analysis of cost, enterprise resource planning system processes, schedule and performance, submarine repair contract requirements and deliverables.
