Major Duties:
Qualifications: To qualify for a GS-09, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in planning, coordinating, and managing production and repair operations for ordnance, ammunition, explosives, or military weapon systems. Skilled in communicating effectively with engineers, supervisors, production workers, and logistics personnel. Experience interpreting and applying technical manuals, safety directives, and repair documentation. Skills in workflow planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation. Demonstrate knowledge of compliance with safety regulations, hazardous materials handling, and DoD standards. Ability to analyze production data and resolve scheduling conflicts. Demonstrate knowledge of inventory management, supply chain coordination, and material requisition for ordnance items. To qualify for a GS-07, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in and possess basic knowledge of supply chain logistics and inventory control in a defense or ordnance environment. Experience in and possess knowledge of ordnance manufacturing processes, quality control, safety standards, and government regulations. Experience communicating effectively with personnel, supervisors, and logistics staff. Basic knowledge of repair and maintenance processes specific to ordnance equipment. Familiarity with hazardous materials handling and compliance with military and federal safety regulations. Ability to interpret technical drawings, repair orders, and safety directives related to ordnance items.
