Leidos’ Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing Facility is seeking a talented Production Control Planner Scheduler to join our team located in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be planning and managing timelines and will maintain a production schedule for assigned programs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing timelines for manufacturing processes to ensure timely production and delivery of goods.

  • Manage order demand for assigned programs within CostPoint (Inventory Reservations CMR, or MRP).

  • Maintain a 6 week production schedule for assigned programs using Microsoft Project and Deltek Cost Point.

  • Interact with internal departments to coordinate execution of production schedule.

  • Print Manufacturing Orders in support of production schedule.

  • Create and track Purchase Order delivery schedule.

  • Conduct status meetings with internal and external customers.

  • Perform capacity analysis for required equipment and coordinate its use.

  • Work continually to drive improvements to on time delivery.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics or business with at least 4 years in a production planning role with use of an EPR system (CostPoint Preferred).  Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Experience in using an MES.

  • Previous experience using Microsoft Project.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to lead meetings.

  • Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters degree with 2-4 years experience.

  • A working knowledge of Deltek CostPoint.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project.

  • Experience using Solumina MES.

  • Prior experience with multi-resource scheduling (Experience in a CNC machining environment is a plus).

  • Active Secret clearance.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
