Job Description
As a Production Control Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring reliable product supply and inventory accuracy across our manufacturing operations. This role supports production planning, inventory control, and material flow to meet customer delivery commitments and financial objectives. Working closely with production, materials management, engineering, and supply chain teams, you will help translate demand, forecasts, and material availability into executable production plans while continuously improving inventory performance, data accuracy, and process efficiency.
This position is based onsite at our Mequon, WI facility and reports to the Production Planning Team Lead.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support product supply and inventory plans aligned with business and product line objectives.
- Develop and maintain production plans for assigned module and final production areas, considering customer orders, forecasts, material availability, equipment constraints, and engineering changes.
- Identify, analyze, and help resolve issues impacting customer delivery performance, excess inventory, and slow-moving materials; develop action plans to improve current and future results.
- Provide material status updates and action plans to business units, materials management, and supply source organizations.
- Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to ensure correct inventory data and parts lists.
- Build working knowledge of product lifecycle planning, including master scheduling, new product introduction, phase-in/phase-out, and inventory planning; provide backup support to Production Control Technical Analysts as needed.
- Drive progress toward annual inventory reduction and customer service performance targets.
- Leverage new technologies and continuous improvement practices to enhance productivity, accuracy, and supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory and quality standards (including ISO, safety, environmental, and information protection requirements).
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain.
- APICS Certification.
- 2+ years of production control/material planning experience with a working knowledge of computer-based manufacturing systems.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with a working knowledge of SAP and PC applications.
