Job Description:

Position Title:            Production Control Administrator (12 month - Fixed Term Contract)

Reporting To:             Operations Director

Location:                    Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan

Hours of work:          40 hours per week, flexible - end of contract bonus payable

Reporting to Operations Director, the Production Control Administrator, together with the wider Production Control team will support daily operations of the site.

What you will do

  • Provide reliable administrative support to Production Control, Spares Distribution and Stores.
  • Assist in preparing essential documentation, reports and company records meeting monthly and quarterly deadlines (predominantly excel format)
  • Coordinate meetings, follow up on actions and ensure clear communication of deliverables to internal Production and Engineering Teams
  • Prepare documentation for weekly meetings with Production, Engineering and Finance team members
  • Create and maintain collaborative working relationships across the team to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Assist operations with the implementation of new processes and systems to enhance efficiencies
  • Lead on Production Control Meetings on rotation
  • Participate in weekly GEMBA walks and 5S auditing

What you will bring

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in production or manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you are approachable and responsive
  • A team player who takes a proactive approach to problem solving
  • High attention to detail and organised
  • Proficient with MS Office suite – Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or a confidence with systems and willingness to learn
