Responsibilities:
- Performs time studies in order to get the real cycle time and also detect at the same time through an analysis the potential improvements on the operation.
- Verify the process capability with the results of the time studies and then establishes actions to improve and/or correct them if is needed.
- Develops the Standard Work Combination Sheet, Work station Lay out and include them on the processes information.
- Develops and maintains updated the necessary documents to establish the production standard (SOP, procedures, Forms, etc.) when is needed.
- Performs a revision of the Materials used in order to confirm that the BOM is met and submit the updates and/or changes if is needed to keep updated the material consumption on the SAP system.
- Participates in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, Lean system, VPS projects, 6 sigma, etc.).
- Revision with the Process engineer the current processes in order to improve the efficiency of methods and/or looking for improvement options.
- Participates in HSE activities and programs.
- Interacts with production department to develop the best method to help the operator to efficient the process and meet customer requirements.
Qualifications:
Student of Industrial Engineering or Similar
Knowledge in time studies realization.
English
Reports elaboration using Office software.
