Position Summary

Support the PPS manufacturing operation by coordinating production schedules, preparing and printing batch records, purchasing and staging materials, and maintaining accurate documentation. Use systems such as PW, SAP, Master Index, Ariba, ETS, and Veeva Vault to manage records, transactions, change controls, and SOP updates, while ensuring compliance with SOPs/cGMPs and safety requirements. Communicate across planning, manufacturing, and packaging teams, supports BOM/recipe updates and MUV analysis, and assists with projects and new product launches. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required. Support bill of materials (BOM) maintenance, product recipe builds, and MUV analysis. Assist with area projects and new product launches as needed.

Hours: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Position Responsibilities

Record Keeping and Documentation

  • Maintain and complete accurate records (timecards, batch records, logbooks, etc.).

Systems

  • Use PW to generate, populate, and print batch records.
  • Maintain the Master Index; revise and update SKU-related data as needed.
  • Perform required SAP transactions.
  • Perform MUV analysis in SAP and recommend BOM and recipe changes.
  • Use Ariba to order expense-based materials as needed.
  • Use ETS to manage and complete change controls.
  • Use Veeva Vault to author and update SOPs, batch records, and other controlled documents.

SOPs / cGMPs

  • Follow all applicable SOPs and cGMPs.
  • Apply proper housekeeping practices.
  • Follow dress code and secondary gowning requirements.

Decision Making (Demonstrated ability to)

  • Escalate questionable issues appropriately.
  • Follow written and verbal directions.
  • Stop the process and escalate when anomalies are observed.
  • Identify out-of-spec material.

Process

  • Understand production/process flow.
  • Ensure proper staging and storage of supplies and equipment.
  • Learn key terminology associated with PPS Manufacturing.

Communication

  • Communicate effectively with peers and supervisor.
  • Use appropriate communication practices to support teamwork.

Personal Computer Skills

  • Perform PC tasks using a variety of software programs.

Safety

  • Read and interpret Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Properly use required PPE per SOPs (e.g., safety shoes, safety glasses, respirators, gloves, hearing protection).

Education and Experience

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Language skills: Ability to read and interpret procedures.
  • Math Skills - ability to apply general math skills including use of the metric system to assigned process calculations.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications

  • Technical school certificate, or 1-2 yrs. college.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in SAP, PW, Master Index, ETS, Ariba and other programs.

Physical Position Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime.
