The Product Training Development Lead designs, develops, and delivers structured technical training programs supporting Oshkosh Aerotech ground support equipment. This role transforms technical manuals into engaging, high-value curriculum that improves customer capability, operational proficiency, and product performance.

Serving as a customer-facing training leader, this individual supports equipment onboarding, operational instruction, and the integration of training into product sales. The role partners closely with Sales, Field Service, Engineering, and Aftermarket teams to ensure scalable, experience-driven learning programs for current and future products while representing Oshkosh Aerotech with professionalism and integrity.

YOUR IMPACT

  • These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
  • Design and develop structured curriculum and training programs for ground support equipment, including instructor-led and hands-on training
  • Independently lead technical instruction, both presentation-based and operational, to customers across multiple product platforms
  • Translate technical manuals and publications into high-value, experience-driven learning programs
  • Support integration of training into new equipment sales and onboarding processes
  • Partner with Sales teams to support product demonstrations and training engagements that enhance customer understanding and adoption
  • Provide operational training at customer sites, including equipment onboarding following commissioning
  • Serve as a professional representative of Oshkosh Aerotech, effectively engaging with executive-level stakeholders as well as frontline operators and technicians
  • Provide feedback to Engineering, Sales, and Aftermarket teams based on customer training interactions
  • Participate in course content reviews, pilot programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supervise, schedule, and develop product training resources as required
  • Assist in maintaining currency of training materials by incorporating technical and procedural updates

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience
  • One (1) year of leadership or team coordination experience
  • Experience developing or delivering structured technical training programs
  • Ability to travel up to 60%
  • Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience designing and building curriculum for technical products
  • Experience in aviation environments or with ground support equipment
  • Experience supporting operational onboarding of complex equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both executive leadership and frontline operators
  • Experience partnering with Sales teams to support product demonstrations
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude with ability to understand system functionality
  • Experience conducting training for diverse audiences with varying experience levels

Pay Range:

$82,900.00 - $134,300.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
