About The Role

The Product Line Management Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering high-impact training programs that support product differentiation, innovation, and effective product execution. This role ensures new hires, sales teams, and internal stakeholders are equipped with a strong understanding of product features, enhancements, positioning, and processes. With a focus on translating complex product concepts into clear, actionable learning experiences, this role plays a critical part in accelerating adoption, consistency, and market effectiveness across product launches, feature enhancements, and process changes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs for new hires, sales teams, and internal stakeholders for the Fixed, Index, and Registered Index-Linked Annuities (RILA) and Variable Annuity product lines.
  • Lead training initiatives related to new product launches, product feature enhancements, and product differentiation strategies.
  • Translate complex product, regulatory, and operational concepts into clear, engaging, and role-appropriate learning materials.
  • Partner with Product Line Managers, Product Development, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to ensure training content is accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain training materials including presentations, job aids, playbooks, process guides, and learning documentation.
  • Ensure training content clearly articulates product differentiators, value propositions, and competitive positioning.
  • Deliver live, virtual, and on-demand training sessions as needed.
  • Support change management efforts by training stakeholders on new or updated processes, tools, enhancements and workflows.
  • Maintain training curriculum and update content based on product changes, market feedback, and regulatory updates.
  • Assess training effectiveness and incorporate feedback and performance insights into continuous improvement efforts.
     

Skills and Qualifications

This role ensures product differentiation and innovation efforts are fully understood and effectively executed across the organization. By accelerating knowledge transfer, improving consistency, and enabling sales and product teams to confidently articulate value, the Product Line Management Trainer directly supports faster adoption of new features, stronger market positioning, and improved business outcomes.

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, product training, sales enablement, learning & development, or related roles within financial services.
  • Annuity products and industry knowledge is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong instructional design and facilitation skills with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to translate complex product and regulatory concepts into effective learning experiences.
  • Experience supporting product launches, feature enhancements, or process change initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with learning platforms a plus.
     

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $88,000 at the commencement of employment.  Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications. In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. Corebridge also offers a range of competitive benefits as part of the total compensation package, as detailed below.

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX or Woodland Hills, CA office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
