Your role
As a Product System Engineer for advanced Air Traffic Management products you will have the technical responsibility for one or many products that are used internationally. We deliver our products to airports worldwide and you will be part of a team of technical leaders where collaboration enables success.

You and the team will work in the part of the product life cycle focusing on requirements, design, the product scope and documentation. In addition, you will work with technical support to our tender team and in the design phase of our customer projects. The products are mainly software products developed by us, but they also include own developed hardware and COTS. As part of your role, you will have the opportunity to travel to our customers worldwide.

We value close contact with customers, end users, our sales team and other stakeholders to build long-term trust. Your role will be central to ensure that our products meet the highest standards and meet the customer’s expectations.

You will be part of a team with product system engineers and other subject matter experts located in Växjö and Gothenburg in Sweden and in Apeldoorn in the Netherlands. The position is in Växjö, Gothenburg or in Apeldoorn. The group of system engineers appreciates strong teamwork, varied tasks and opportunities for personal and professional development.

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced system engineer with at least 3 years of experience and a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering or a similar field. A great advantage is experience with and a strong interest in

  • technical and complex software systems and hardware
  • real-time, regulated, safety critical systems
  • cyber security

Experience in Air Traffic Management is a plus.

You are a skilled planner and can prioritize effectively, even when you and your team are working with multiple products and different deadlines. Flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions are important qualities. You are motivated by continuous learning and find it easy to find creative solutions to unexpected challenges.

Good communication skills in English, both spoken and in writing, are essential. A valid driver’s license is also considered a plus.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
