The Opportunity:
Serve as the focal point for planning, managing, and coordinating life cycle logistics support. Develop and communicate logistics requirements that have far-reaching consequences for logistics design. Lead in the implementation and maintenance of information, including status for technology-based hardware and software assets. Apply advanced advising and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Provide thorough and proper logistics inputs to supportability for our future weapon systems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.
You Have:
8+ years of experience as a logistician or in logistics related fields
Experience developing, submitting, and managing Basis of Issue Plan (BOIP)
Experience creating, updating, and managing Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) for Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) systems
Experience with conducting product support tasks for Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) systems including, generating Demil and disposal plans, creating Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) data, performing Transition to Sustainment (T2S) activities, requesting Type Designators, component provisioning, and material release process
Experience in material fielding
Knowledge of theories and principles of DoD acquisition and maintenance requirements and organizational functions involved in logistical support
Ability to work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice to have:
Experience in the military
Experience submitting cPROBE or cQUIP for updates
Experience with the Army Decision Support Tool (DST) system
Experience conducting new equipment training or fielding
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Top Secret clearance
Master’s degree
DAU Life Cycle Management Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
