Field Systems: The Trimble Field Systems segment provides solutions to increase precision and productivity in construction tasks by empowering stakeholders to collect accurate information and manage conditions with cutting-edge technology.

What Makes This Role Great:

You will act as the critical bridge between field reality and product innovation, representing the voice of the customer in ongoing product development while mastering a diverse ecosystem of tech, including GNSS, Total Stations, and advanced data analytics software.

Products or systems you will support include, but are not limited to: 

  • Site Positioning Systems (Total Stations, Data Collectors, and GNSS receivers)

  • Field Software (SiteWorks)

  • Office Software (Worksmanager, WorksOS, Trimble Marine Construction, and Trimble Business Center)


Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Deliver fast, high-impact technical solutions to a global network of business partners, resellers, and internal Trimble teams.
  • Perform advanced system acceptance testing on flagship products like Siteworks and Trimble Business Center to ensure peak field performance.
  • Create dynamic technical communications and training content across multiple media formats, including digital documentation and video.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical hardware and software issues to minimise customer downtime and maximise site productivity.
  • Partner with product development teams to provide field-based insights that drive the next generation of construction technology.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience with construction software (Trimble Business Center, Worksmanager) and site positioning hardware (GNSS, Total Stations).

  • Strong background in surveying theory and data collection, including the ability to process complex spatial datasets.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical defects in machine guidance or field software environments.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

  • Physical ability to perform field-based tasks, including lifting up to 20kg and navigating construction site environments.

Bonus Points For

  • Practical experience as a Survey Engineer, Lead Surveyor, or Data Prep Specialist.

  • Higher education in Geomatics, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or GIS platforms.
