Purpose of the Role


The core objective of this role is to provide technical expertise to agents and distributors in order to support the achievement of sales objectives.

The Product Specialist acts as a trusted field partner, supporting agents, distributors, and physicians with in-depth knowledge of Neurovascular technologies and products. The role contributes to education initiatives and actively participates in customer events, workshops, and training programs / technical support in and out Angio Lab. Close collaboration with Marketing and Sales is key to ensuring effective execution in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Market Development

  • Act as the technical expert for the full Neurovascular product portfolio within the assigned territory.

  • Deliver product and clinical training, including presentations to groups of physicians.

  • Support and facilitate physician-to-physician programs and educational initiatives.

  • Actively support sales and marketing programs through regular field presence alongside agents and distributors.

  • Provide technical assistance in the Angio Lab when required.

  • Share relevant market and customer insights with the Marketing Manager to support market development initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales Management to support territory objectives.

Relationship Management

  • Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.

  • Develop effective working relationships with agents and distributors, responding proactively to their needs.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with Stryker’s quality systems, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Act as a key interface between agents, customers, and the sales organization to support complaint handling, documentation, and issue resolution.

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and ethical standards in all interactions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the medical device or healthcare environment. Preferably in Interventional Neuroradiology, Interventional Radiology, or Hematology.

  • Preferably 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or technical specialist roles.

  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent is preferable.

  • Experience supporting training and educational programs is an advantage.

  • Strong results orientation and ability to work toward defined objectives.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong team mindset and collaborative approach.

  • Willingness to spend significant time in the field, including hospital and Angio Lab environments.

Travel Percentage: 70%
