We are currently looking for a Product Specialist for Atomic Spectroscopy (m/f/d) to join our Technical Coverage & Solution Team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our activity of the Agilent’s Atomic spectroscopy portfolio (including AA, MP-AES, ICP-OES, ICPMS and QQQ) and providing in-depth knowledge and support across the EMEA region. You will work in close collaboration with our sales, marketing, and pre-sales teams to drive customer success and ensure the effective positioning of our solutions.


Your key responsibilities will also include:

  • Drive and develop the Atomic Spectroscopy business in your assigned territory (Germany), supporting the sales organization in achieving business targets
  • Provide technical and application support to account managers and the sales team, from pre-sales demonstrations and opportunity qualification to technical deal closure, ensuring tailored solutions for customer requirements
  • Collaborate on sales and marketing initiatives, including contributing to regional sales plans, executing the EMEA marketing plan through presentations, conferences, and tactical activities, and advising on go-to-market strategies for new product introductions
  • Benchmark competitors and communicate Agilent’s value propositions, acting as the voice of the customer to influence future product and application development
  • Deliver training, seminars, and scientific presentations to the sales force, customers, and prospects, contributing to scientific forums and enhancing product and application knowledge
  • Maintain and expand domain expertise, monitoring scientific advancements, market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive positioning, while interacting with Agilent R&D teams in Japan and Melbourne to align future developments with EMEA needs

Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:

  • A university degree in a chemistry-related field (e.g., Analytical Chemistry, Geochemistry, Food Science Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or similar)
  • Solid knowledge and practical experience with atomic spectroscopy techniques
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pre-sales/product specialist OR as an end-user of atomic spectroscopy instruments
  • Full professional proficiency in German and English
  • Prior experience with Agilent products is a strong advantage

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
