Product Sales Manager (Marination)

Are you a natural dealmaker with a passion for driving growth?
We’re looking for a dynamic Product Sales Manager (PSM) to spearhead sales of GEA’s Marination machinery and related product range. In this pivotal role, you will identify and develop new business opportunities, guide country sales teams, and directly engage with customers to secure high-value projects across your territory.

For food processing, GEA offers solutions for the preparation, marination and further processing of meat, poultry, seafood and plant-based products. The portfolio also includes processing lines for pasta, baked goods, snacks, breakfast cereals, confectionery and pet food, as well as equipment for slicing and packaging of food.

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Drive sales by converting leads into opportunities, delivering demos, quotes, and tailored solutions, and managing customer relationships to close deals in alignment with R&C teams

  • Target key applications and segments with compelling value propositions; provide market insights and competitor analysis to refine GEA’s portfolio

  • Develop and execute country-specific sales plans, drive quarterly targets, and collaborate with R&C offices for strategic alignment

  • Serve as the central link between customers, R&C offices, and internal teams; ensure smooth project handovers and leverage the Technology Center for trials

  • Track market trends and competitors, propose new applications or product enhancements, and represent GEA at industry events

  • Evaluate RFQs, assess risks, and prepare competitive SAP SOH quotations while ensuring contract viability and supporting negotiations

  • Lead relationships with major global accounts, ensuring seamless service and uncovering opportunities for deeper partnerships

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, provide feedback to Product Management, and support product innovation

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO level or equivalent) in a technical or commercial field

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in machinery manufacturing, ideally within food processing

  • Strong technical knowledge and consultative selling expertise

  • Proven success in international sales and contract negotiation

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch; German, French, or Spanish is an advantage

  • High commercial acumen, hunter mentality, and strategic thinking.

  • Flexibility to travel internationally as needed

  • You excel in building trust-based relationships with customers and partners

  • Driving initiatives independently with an entrepreneurial spirit
