s being one of the core brand of Rolls Royce Power Systems, Rolls Royce Solutions Turkey is equipped with the experience of more than 100 years on productions of diesel engines, manufactures and improves complete drive systems, Gas and Diesel Systems and their control / monitoring systems in wide range of product types and power ratings for heavy vehicles and equipment for construction and mining industry.

We are looking for Product Safety Manager;

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for all safety-related topics in assigned projects, including Functional Safety, Product Safety, and HS&E matters
  • Coordinate project and product safety activities with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners
  • Analyze safety requirements based on customer specifications, standards, regulations, and internal procedures; implement the safety lifecycle and prepare the Project Safety Management Plan
  • Lead safety planning, monitoring, and control activities; ensure internal and external reporting and coordinate corrective actions in case of deviations
  • Support and guide project teams in safety analyses, documentation, and compliance processes
  • Provide safety and HS&E input during proposal preparation and sales processes
  • Conduct on-site assessments during production, testing, and commissioning phases; initiate and coordinate improvement actions when required
  • Collaborate with global R&D teams to ensure implementation of defined Product Safety lifecycle work packages
  • Manage external service providers when internal resources are limited and ensure proper coordination with project managers
  • Ensure compliance with global Product Safety procedures, standards, and Quality Gate (QG) processes
  • Drive continuous improvement of product safety management practices for new technologies and the existing product portfolio
  • Maintain documentation, traceability, reporting, and archiving in line with global standards
  • Support supplier alignment with internal safety and quality processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related fields)
  • 5–10 years of experience in Product Safety, Functional Safety, or Engineering project environments
  • Knowledge of Product Safety Management, risk assessment, CE marking, and HS&E practices
  • Experience in complex technical systems such as diesel generators, dynamic UPS, gas engine generators, cogeneration and trigeneration systems is preferred
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, P&ID diagrams, and system interfaces
  • Familiarity with safety tools and software (MS Office, CAD/CAM, Safeexpert, etc.)
  • Experience working with global standards and structured lifecycle processes
  • Project management and stakeholder coordination experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
  • Willingness to travel when required
  • Valid driving license
