Deliver sales booked through single/multiple lines quotations activities

Development of good working relationships and knowledge of tools with vendor contacts to obtain timely answers and meet turn time goals. Proactively leverage vendor relationships to win critical and competitive large sales opportunities and improve margin goals.

Collaborate with Product teams, Sales teams, and global quoting teams to deliver high performance results for assigned region. Follow up with sales teams or directly with customers on open opportunities to capture sales.

Request special cost consideration based on vendor rules including registration programs , educational discounts , key promotional pricing , Federal Government rules , etc

Identify alternative options that may result in lower costs, higher margin and an improved customer experience.

Create skus insuring all data is correct and current and effectively manage customer requests quoting large volumes of product (Bill of Materials) using a combination of excel and data base tools. If applicable in region

Provide vendor specific guidance on a BOM quote and qualify prior to scrubbing. Buys, annuals, and package programs. Deliver on match rate and due date goals

Job Impact/Influence Measures:
Quoting requires learning multiple vendor price books and online systems. Timely responses directly affect the close ratio and ultimately sales booked. Ability to offer substitutes and alternatives is key to closing the business. The Product Quotations Analyst is responsible for continually connecting and collaborating with suppliers, buyers, vendors and inside stake holders including Supplier Account Managers, Product Managers, Sales, and Business Development Managers.
Decision-making Authority:
The Product Quotations Analyst is responsible for qualifying activities and prioritizing execution based on the needs of the customers and what fits into our business strategy.
