What You Will Do

Join our Tekla Structures Product team, BIM and Engineering Division, in Espoo, Finland and help shape the future of construction! You will guide and innovate together with a dedicated Engineering team as the Product Owner as well as collaborate with other teams and functions to deliver best in class solutions! We're on a mission to keep Tekla Structures software at the forefront of BIM technology, and we're looking for innovative individuals like you to elevate design and construction productivity.

You will thrive in this role if you have hands-on experience in the construction industry using BIM software, a passion for creating innovative solutions together with experts and customers, and the ability to dive deep into analysis and test things thoroughly. 

Your main duties will include the following tasks:

• Translate market needs into written detailed specifications which align with our product plans
• Conduct hands on discovery
• Refine requirements and acceptance criteria together with the team
• Conduct acceptance testing, ensuring that implementations meet users’ needs and comply with the Definition of Done
• Be an agile team member and steer the team’s daily work to successfully deliver value through solutions
• Collect and prioritize customer and stakeholder feedback, and product insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align dependencies across teams and with the plan
• Actively participate and present your team’s work at internal events
• Provide documented materials, support and train Trimble staff on your features

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

• Professional construction experience and skills in using Tekla Structures or other BIM software solutions
• An academic or polytechnic degree in Structural/Civil Engineering 
• Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Be comfortable presenting in front of large groups
• Proactive attitude towards studying and solving customer problems
• Ability to quickly learn new technology. 
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently on short- and long-term goals
• Interested in leveraging AI tools for greater efficiency and precision 
• Ability to collect the requirements and to study tasks thoroughly and take projects to completion
• Experience in teaching or training others
• Ability to translate technical content to non-technical
• Open-mindedness and willingness for continuous learning and development
• Ability to excel in a cross-functional team environment
• Ability to collaborate well with people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds
• Familiarity with the product development cycle, e.g. SAFe 
• Willingness to travel on rare occasions as needed

About Your Location
You will be working at our Espoo office in Leppävaara. Our office is located close to Leppävaara train station, only 5 minutes walk from there.
