Transformation is responsible managing and delivering change and technology investment for NN Life Japan. We provide resource, change delivery, portfolio management services, process’, and governance to effectively deliver change for NN life Japan. We are strong advocates for the use of best practice agile techniques to help with speedy and reliable change delivery.
In 2018 NN Life Japan adopted the agile way of working based on the Spotify, Scrum, Kanban and SAFe frameworks. We have fixed product squad teams aligned with each of our business areas. We have been modernizing our technology stack, insourcing engineering capabilities and building CI/CD pipelines. It has been a huge success, but we don’t think our Transformation has gone far enough.
We would like to take our delivery capabilities to the next level and introduce a product operating model. We aim to become more customer focused. We want to enable agile product teams to find the best solutions to our customers’ problems.
We would like to hire an experienced product leader to hire, coach and develop our product owner and manager talent.
【Position Summary/ 役職概要】
The Head of Product Management will bring strong product management experience to the organization and collaborate with top management to learn, adopt and evangelize the product operating model. They will have a passion and talent for coaching and developing people to succeed in a product organization.
This person will have a passion for the product operating model. They will have a proven track record of working in a product organization. They will understand what it takes to build an organization that understands and prioritizes customer needs and enables product teams to solve those customer problems.
The Head of Product Management will work closely with our product management talent and the change organization to assess the current level of maturity. They will help define and execute plans to transform our organization to the product operating model. All Product Owners and Product Management COE members will have a reporting line to this person. They will develop individual coaching and development plans for all Product Owners and Managers. Such plans would include training, coaching, performance assessment, mission & objectives validation, portfolio alignment, benefit review, and organization structure adjustment as needed.
