About the role

Job Purpose & Characteristics

This role is a unique blend of operational and strategic responsibilities. As a product owner, you contribute to guaranteeing the success of your product assortment, working together with key stakeholders. This is secured by taking an active role in assisting the Project Leader and sharing ideas to support the product portfolio and alignment with our overall business, sales, and go-to market strategy.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the Product Director in building up the product strategy through analyzing and evaluating market trends, consumer needs and competitor activity to identify market opportunities.
• Manage Product assortment, performance, and present optimizing solutions, i.e., Product Life Cycle Management and stock conditioning.
• Support the complete product offer strategy, where applicable, including standards, specials, digital needs and services.
• Assist pricing specialists to establish product positioning according to market conditions.
• Responsible for collating sales forecasts, monitor sales volume, revenues, and actively engage key market representatives to improve sales performance. 
• Good knowledge of the industry and technical expertise within the product area.
• Acts as the primary contact to sales, servicing the Project Leader with all relevant and necessary product deliverables as demanded from the market.
• Liaises with the Project Leader to ensure all project deliverables including specification of demands and training material are met.
• Responsible for providing product data for information management IT platforms, i.e. e-PLM, PIM.
• Support marketing communications and sales to drive the business revenue and collaborate with key stakeholders for advertising and promotions activities.
• Cooperation in product management within Sandvik Machining.
• Support that all team members can understand and convey Dormer Pramet’s core values, drivers, and strategies.
• Communicate professionally adhering to Dormer Pramet culture and way of working.
• Support internal corporate initiatives and policies.
• Some travelling might be required in this role (Customers & internal Machining meetings)
• Bears full responsibility for high-quality performance of the job duties, observance of Company rules and the labour legislation of the country.

Key Competencies:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in cutting tools, 8-10 years in Product Management regional or global is a must.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field (Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering preferred).
• Influences stakeholders through well‑structured presentations, clear training materials, and targeted communication.
• Competition products knowledge mainly in round tools portfolios, Trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
• Adapts messaging to different audiences, demonstrates active listening, and communicates effectively.
• Excellent command over English, Speaking and Writing, very good presentation skills, Analytical skills, cutting tools market knowledge,
