We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our PwC Academy team. In this role, you’ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to shape, enhance, and champion our LMS offering , ensuring it delivers meaningful, secure, and scalable learning experiences for clients and internal users alike.

This role offers the opportunity to combine product ownership, technology, and client engagement, while contributing to innovation, continuous improvement, and business growth in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Your Mission 

Your career with PwC is what you make it. As our Product Owner, you will contribute to the following areas: 

Product Strategy & Vision 

  • Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Moodle‑based LMS. 

  • Continuously assess market trends, user needs, and technological advancements in eLearning. 

Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and end‑users to gather requirements and prioritise features. 

  • Communicate product updates, timelines, and decisions clearly across stakeholders. 

Product plan & Requirements Management 

  • Own, create, and refine the product backlog. 

  • Write clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases. 

  • Prioritise development tasks in alignment with strategy, value, and feasibility. 

Moodle Expertise 

  • Understand Moodle architecture, plugins, APIs, integrations, and configuration options. 

  • Make informed decisions about custom development vs. leveraging Moodle’s built‑in capabilities. 

  • Evaluate and manage 3rd‑party plugins and integrations (SSO, CRM, HR systems, etc.). 

 

Product Maintenance & Operational Excellence 

  • Oversee ongoing maintenance of the Moodle platform, ensuring consistent reliability, security, and performance. 

  • Coordinate regular Moodle version upgrades, security patches, and plugin updates. 

  • Proactively manage technical debt, platform cleanup, and deprecation of outdated features. 

  • Follow PwC Technology Risk Framework. 

 

Business Support 

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager in preparing annual budget forecasts. 

  • Contribute to business development activities, including client relationships, tenders, proposals, invoicing and product demonstrations. 

 

About You 

We’re looking for someone who: 

  • Has experience in Moodle based LMS and in product ownership, product management, or platform ownership. 

  • Demonstrates strong stakeholder engagement and prioritisation skills, balancing business, user, and technical needs 

  • Is comfortable working with backlogs, roadmaps, and agile delivery frameworks 

  • Brings experience coordinating with external vendors or technology partners 

  • Has an understanding of risk management, security considerations, and governance in digital platforms 

  • Communicates clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences 

  • Enjoys collaborating in diverse teams and values different perspectives 

  • Is proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities 

  • Is eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement
