What can you expect:

As a Innovation Product Owner, you will work with three 4-person squads to build features, proofs of concept (PoCs) and applications for use by business users or technical teams. You will be responsible for driving the development and execution of innovative products and solutions within the organization. This role involves collaborating closely with engineering teams, business product management, and the broader organization to define and prioritize the backlog of PoCs, experiments, GenAI product enhancements and new products. Additionally, you will contribute to defining product strategy, vision and roadmap, ensuring that our products align with the company’s goals for innovation and growth.

We will count on you to:

  • Work with Business Units to collect requirements      
  • Use business requirements to create actionable user stories which have measurable acceptance criteria
  • Assist in tracking dependencies and managing backlogs
  • Oversee development timelines, delivery timelines, customer care and deployment strategies
  • Working with the developers to deliver quality features and products within the expected timeline
  • Assist with the communication to customers of production availability and function/feature
  • Maintain an actionable and prioritized backlog comprised of features for the business, features for technology and technical enablers

What you will need to have:

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Business process management understanding
  • Baseline understanding of technical environment(s)
  • Self-starter/go-getter mentality
  • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server or ADO a plus

  • You have technical competency and can 'talk the talk' with engineers. You understand APIs and data manipulation but have the empathy and mindset of a product manager who embraces design thinking and Agile decision making.
