About the role:
The Treasury Division is looking for a Product Owner II for our Central Accounting Reporting System (CARS) business line. Reporting to a Senior Manager on the Treasury CARS team, you will support product development and operational activities related to maintaining financial accounting software and the delivery of financial reports for the U.S. Government. You are someone who can think strategically, deliver effectively, and confidently guide both internal teams and external customers toward the best long-term solutions. You will work with dedicated scrum teams to lead the delivery lifecycle from discovery through release, ensuring teams understand the scope, dependencies and value outcome. You will be on-site in our St. Louis location.
Responsibilities
- Ensure features align with product strategy and roadmap to develop accurate and user-friendly governmentwide accounting software for multiple scrum teams.
- Deliver technical solutions by gathering and understanding requirements, creating user stories, and prioritizing team backlogs to refine the development of priorities.
- Operate with a service-oriented mindset to develop relationships working in a team environment, while contributing to the Bank's values.
- Create reports or artifacts to assess performance. Use this data to craft actionable insights and identify opportunities for process improvement or product optimization.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to multitask, manage dependencies, and conflicting priorities among diverse cross-portfolio partners.
- Participate in and help lead team Agile ceremonies.
- Mentor junior members of the product team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
- 3+ years' relevant experience required, including a combination of the following:
- Experience with the Product Management discipline and Agile/Scrum iterative product development; certification a plus.
- Strong analytical skills - ability to use data to inform decisions and measure success.
- Experience working with customers directly and navigating sensitive, high-stakes conversation with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- User experience or user outreach contributions (insights, research, design, testing).
- Comprehensive and proficient facilitation and communication skills.
- Can manage numerous programs and work processes simultaneously.
- You have ability to operate independently, thrive in ambiguity, adapt quickly, and keep teams aligned amidst changing priorities.
- You have curiosity and love solving problems using your creative and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with a hybrid work environment; proficient in online collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Teams, or similar.
- U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident with three or more years of U.S. residency
- Travel (up to 10%)

Salary: $107,900.00-$140,300.00
