As a Product Owner II - Analytics Engineer within PNC's Asset Liability Management Chief Investment Office organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH or New York, NY.

What You’ll Do
• Develop and support analytics engineering platform using enterprise cloud-native technologies and toolsets (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Enable rapid development and deployment of data apps and analytics tools (such as JupyterHub, Airflow, MLflow, Plotly Dash, Streamlit, Flask, FastAPI).
• Build and support modern data management solutions, including data lakehouse architectures (e.g., Apache Iceberg), data virtualization, and robust data pipelines for streaming and batch workloads.
• Collaborate directly with traders and portfolio managers to understand business problems, deliver proof-of-concepts, and transform current practices (e.g., migrating Excel/VBA/C++ workflows to Python and API-based solutions).
• Set and enforce analytics best practices: code quality, CI/CD (Jenkins), testing, documentation, and security (Python 3.9+, SonarQube, IAST/SAST).
• Drive AI/ML-driven analytics experience, including model lifecycle management, explainability, and compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
• Involved in designing and operating multi-tenant environments, Helm-based deployments, and analytics app lifecycle management.
• Prioritize reliability and redundancy for daily business operations; support RBAC and data governance for risk and market data domains.
• Proactively identify challenges, troubleshoot issues, and continuously learn new knowledge and business concepts to deliver effective solutions.
What You Bring
• 2–3 years’ experience building and operating cloud-native platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes or similar).
• Strong Python and SQL skills; familiarity with modern data and ML toolsets (open source preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins), containerization, and app hosting for data-driven applications.
• Understanding of data lakehouse concepts, data pipelines, and data governance.
• Ability to work closely with business users, quickly learn financial domain concepts, and translate needs into technical solutions.
• Demonstrated proactive problem solving and commitment to active learning.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s a plus.
• Knowledge and practice of web development.
• Knowledge and practice of API.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
• AWS data engineering or machine learning training/experience.
• Experience in financial services, especially trading, risk, or asset/liability management.
• Familiarity with quantitative analytics, machine learning, and modernizing legacy workflows.
• Knowledge of database technologies (MySQL,Postgres, Oracle, MS SQL) and NoSQL such as redis, mongodb and performance optimization.
• Experience with AI/ML model development, deployment, and monitoring (including generative AI, explainable AI, and compliance frameworks).
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for AI in finance (model risk management, bias testing, explainability, and data privacy).
• Familiarity with C/ C++ libraries and scheduling tools.

Job Description
- Owns the vision and the definition of the product. Serves as the voice of the customer. Provides guidance to concentrate the Scrum Team(s) effort on correct priorities based on business value.
- Defines and conveys the vision to the team(s) in order to address client requirements to meet business objectives.
- Accountable for the creation of and the integrity of the product backlog. Prioritizes and leads grooming of the product backlog.
- Works in partnership with the Scrum Master(s) to ensure items are worked on in accordance with the product backlog. Serves as the primary point of contact for questions from the team(s).
- Accepts delivery of working product from the Scrum Teams(s). Reviews and validates Scrum Team(s) working product. Socializes the delivery of business value and outcomes of the iteration to various stakeholders.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $134,550.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education.
