We are seeking a talented Product Owner to join our Securities Industry Services (SIS) unit within Broadridge. SIS offers a comprehensive suite of products and services that manage the back office and front office operations of brokerage firms, banks, and mutual fund dealers operating in the Canadian securities industry. As a Product Owner you will play a crucial role in the delivery life cycle.

Key Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Lead and prioritize the development team’s work to ensure alignment with product vision and company goals.

  • Translate product strategies into detailed requirements and prototypes.

  • Define and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring it reflects market needs and company objectives.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including internal teams and external clients, to refine the product vision and strategy.

  • Handle end-to-end delivery of product features from concept through to launch.

  • Ensure solutions meet business objectives and end-user needs through continuous feedback and iteration.

  • Manage and evaluate the backlog, setting priorities based on customer feedback, strategic value, and technical feasibility.

  • Facilitate communication and articulate the product’s vision clearly to both the development team and stakeholders.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product decisions and enhancements.

  • Act as product champion, advocating for beneficial changes and enhancements to drive product success

Basic Skill Level Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology / Systems

  • CSC certification an asset

Experience/Skills:

  • 3–6 years of product management experience

  • Extensive knowledge of Wealth Management Back Office and Business Management applications.

  • · Analytical skills and ability to effectively analyze and interpret complex data.

  • In-depth understanding of front and back-office brokerage business operations.

  • Ability to manage system-level requirements, perform data mapping, and review technical design documents.

  • Strong capability to produce and manage detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).

  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and familiar with the software development lifecycle.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to effectively interact across diverse teams and cultures globally.

  • Proven track record of prioritizing tasks and managing workflows in a fast-paced environment.

  • Adept at identifying opportunities for improvement and driving implementation.

  • Expertise in using project management tools and business analysis software

  • Competent in database management and intermediate SQL knowledge.
