Role Summary:
The Health Care Professional (HCP) Data Product Owner is responsible for leveraging HCP data for the benefit of IQVIA Digital, its products, partners, and clients. The HCP Data Product Owner is the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for HCP data in IQVIA Digital, including internal and external oversight for the IQVIA Digital HCP focused data offerings providing HCP profile & identity solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Overview
- Be the subject matter expert, internal product ambassador and primary point of contact for the use of HCP profile & identity data within IQVIA Digital.
- Responsible for operational requirements and all internal activities to optimize the use of HCP data within IQVIA Digital, ensuring quality standards and transactional needs are met.
- Identify gaps in HCP data and evaluate external partners with data to address those gaps.
- Provide technical expertise in business requirements for HCP data.
- Manage the ingestion of external HCP data and harmonization with existing HCP assets.
- Educate IQVIA colleagues and select external partners on HCP data.
- Develop sales collateral and train GTM teams on product features & enhancements.
- Other duties, as assigned, with guidance of Director, Health Data.
- Product Strategy
- Provide input into the HCP Data product strategy and definition.
- Translate the product strategy and vision into roadmap prioritization and planning.
- Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business impact, and ROI.
- Detail the product specs, prioritize, and translate requirements to story points.
- Evaluate datasets for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness; thoroughly vet potential partners whose data can help IQVIA Digital HCP data maintain its industry leader position.
- Support the use of HCP data for internal and external use via cross-product initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g., internal teams, clients, and partners) to gather insights and feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure successful product development and implementation.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making.
- Product Operations
- Manage the processes for ingesting, validating, storing, protecting, and processing required HCP data to ensure the accessibility, reliability, and timeliness of the data.
- Develop and optimize a process for the ingestion of external data from initial planning stages to post-integration audits promoting adherence to end-to-end process standards.
- Standardize the delivery and receipt of external files (e.g., layout, naming convention, delivery, receipt, and error notifications), implementing automation where possible.
- Support ad hoc data specifications for new datasets.
- Interact with data providers and internal teams to obtain data requirements for new and existing applications.
- Perform internal/external impact assessment of new data layouts on current process, re-mapping and data definitions.
- Perform data management activities in accordance with customer, company, contract, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop / partner on any communications needed, both internal and external.
- Address any internal and external HCP data issues, questions and problems in accurate and timely manner.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the product team and across the organization.
- Support other team Product Owner(s) and Product Manager(s) as needed.
- Governance
- Stay abreast of changes to U.S. law and regulatory environment which might affect the usage of HCP data in IQVIA products.
- Work with IQVIA stakeholders to adapt to new or emerging restrictions and remain compliant with changes to U.S. and/or state laws, as well as IQVIA policies.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years relevant industry experience with data integrations, including Product Manager / Product Owner responsibilities in an Agile environment. Large company experience a plus.
- History of working with data products or alongside data products.
- Strategic business and industry awareness and the ability to translate emerging trends relevant to the organization into business requirements.
- Solid understanding of HCP and direct to consumer (DTC) marketing.
- Attention to detail, adaptability to changing priorities, ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively and effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a team player.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients coupled with the ability to influence as needed.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $99,000.00 - $275,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
