What this job involves:

As a Product Owner & Data Steward at JLL, you will drive data excellence and innovation across the Orbit system, combining technical expertise with strategic leadership to transform data management practices, implement cutting-edge solutions, and deliver measurable business value through process improvements and automation. You will analyze and optimize data management processes to increase efficiency and address gaps while leading continuous improvement initiatives using innovative technology solutions including AI/ML and automation. This role involves leading proof-of-concept initiatives and partnering with tech teams on enhancements including Orbit and Locations merge while establishing and tracking KPIs to measure process effectiveness and improvement impact. You will maintain Orbit data by executing on customer requests while monitoring & managing Orbit SIM queue and developing automated quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring systems in the Locations Framework to proactively identify data quality risks, directly contributing to JLL's mission of delivering exceptional data management excellence through strategic innovation, comprehensive governance frameworks, and scalable process optimization that drives organizational transformation.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Analyze and optimize data management processes to increase efficiency and address gaps while leading continuous improvement initiatives using innovative technology solutions
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and partner with tech teams on enhancements including Orbit and Locations merge while establishing and tracking KPIs for effectiveness measurement
  • Maintain Orbit data by executing customer requests while monitoring & managing Orbit SIM queue and automated data quality monitoring for comprehensive system oversight
  • Develop automated quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring systems in Locations Framework to proactively identify data quality risks and lead complex cleansing projects
  • Lead development of data governance frameworks and stewardship models, SOPs and data responsibility matrix for comprehensive organizational data management
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels to drive data quality culture across different functional teams including Lease Admin, Construction Project Management, IFM, and ACS teams
  • Mentor junior team members and serve as subject matter expert while presenting to senior leadership on initiatives, ROI, and strategic recommendations
  • Provide change management, training and office hours for Orbit and self-service data quality tools for business users as applicable for organizational adoption.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field with 5+ years in data management, data quality, or product ownership roles
  • Proven track record leading process improvement initiatives with measurable results and experience implementing innovative technology solutions & driving organization change
  • Understanding of CRE processes and associated technology to support property data management at scale with direct experience with Orbit system or similar enterprise ERP/IWMS platforms
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar data analysis tools with strong understanding of data architecture, modeling, and database design
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools, scripting, and API integrations while demonstrating proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight, etc.)
  • Understanding of AI/ML applications in data quality management with proven ability to drive innovation and implement new technologies
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and change management skills with excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence abilities
  • Results-oriented with focus on delivering measurable business value while demonstrating entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GREF operations and Orbit system enhancements including Locations Framework integration and automated data quality monitoring systems
  • Background in developing strategic roadmaps and business cases for technology investments with experience creating executive dashboards and quarterly business reviews
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and stewardship models with experience influencing stakeholders across functional teams in CRE environments
  • Understanding of innovation pilot management and technology evaluation reporting with experience in change management and training delivery
  • Experience with automated scripts, tools, and validation frameworks development while demonstrating systems thinking approach and exceptional attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CRE processes including Lease Admin, Construction Project Management, IFM, and ACS team operations for comprehensive stakeholder collaboration.
