The Consumer Spending Crew has end-to-end responsibility for the Commonwealth Bank Credit Cards business and our key consumer spending propositions. We consist of squads that look after the development of the credit card products, acquisition, the growth of our portfolio, our loyalty program and end-to-end process improvement.

As the Product Owner – Consumer Spending Data, you will lead the squad responsible for designing, building and delivering data solutions that help the entire Consumer Spending Crew grow and deliver service excellence to our customers.

Leading the Consumer Spending Data Squad is a pivotal role for the successful delivery of the Consumer Spending Crew program of work. You will report to the Crew Lead for Consumer Spending, who will support you with your performance and development.
Key responsibilities will include
Prioritisation and Delivery excellence: Ensure work is clearly prioritised and effectively distributed to maximise outcomes delivered in the squad in line with quarterly deliverables.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong working relationships across multiple Squads to align on strategic initiatives and prioritise work that will deliver outcomes against your squad OKRs.
Risk management: Responsible for proactively managing risks including performance of regular controls, robust product governance, identification of issues, escalation and swift resolution of issues including remediation.
We want to hear from you if you have
Experience in prioritisation and delivering strong outcomes in an Agile environment.
Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. This role will see you working across multiple different squads, crews and domains.
Ability to think analytically and use data and insights to make decisions.
Previous work experience in a data / engineering role is essential.
