About your team
The Customer Communications Platform (CCP) team’s an early adopter of Fidelity’s cross-functional team model, bringing together expertise from propositions, technology, and operations. Our mission is to define and deliver a strategic roadmap for how Global Platform Solutions (GPS) manages customer communications and interactions. We own the tools, technologies, and processes that enable best-in-class customer service correspondence, while partnering with business channels and operational teams to ensure a seamless service model.


About your role
As a Product Owner within the CCP team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the platform vision while supporting initiatives aligned to one or more Agile Release Trains (ARTs) under the SAFe Agile Framework. This includes working closely with other Product Owners to identify synergies across QPI (Quarterly Planning Interval) objectives and ensuring alignment with the platform realisation roadmap.

You’ll balance strategic platform goals with QPI commitments, ensuring that delivery plans support both enterprise priorities and customer outcomes. Collaboration is key - you’ll partner with other POs, chapter leads, architects, delivery and operational teams, and stakeholders to prioritise work, manage dependencies, and enable execution discipline across squads.


Key responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for…

Strategic alignment & roadmap delivery
• Support QPI initiatives within one or more ARTs, ensuring alignment with the CCP platform roadmap.
• Work with other POs to identify synergies and optimise delivery across squads and ARTs.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of platform goals and translate them into actionable backlog items.
• Translate platform vision into actionable backlog items that deliver measurable business value.


Backlog & prioritisation
• Co-own and maintain a single, prioritised backlog of epics and user stories aligned to platform goals and QPI commitments.
• Make informed trade-off decisions balancing quality, cost, and timelines to optimise business outcomes.
• Define clear acceptance criteria to ensure transparency and predictability in delivery.

Business outcomes & KPIs
• Define and track KPIs that demonstrate value creation for the business and clients.
• Continuously adjust priorities based on data-driven insights and evolving business needs to maximise ROI.

Client-centric delivery
• Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring client needs are embedded in all deliverables.
• Facilitate demos and feedback loops to validate outcomes and inform continuous improvement.



Agile leadership & collaboration
• Model agile behaviours and foster a culture of collaboration and empowerment within squads.
• Remove impediments and enable teams to deliver effectively across geographies and time zones.
• Ensure value is bought to the forefront of all deliverables.

Product management & governance
• Ensure platform services are stable, performant, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Manage total cost of ownership and prioritise maintenance to minimise technical debt and sustain long-term value.

About you

• Strong understanding of SAFe Agile principles and experience working within ARTs.
• Proven and credible experience operating as a Product Owner, across multiple squads and initiatives.
• Expert in driving enthusiasm and buy-in to change horizon objectives.
• Expert in Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management tool e.g., Jira
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to balance strategic platform objectives with QPI delivery commitments.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work across multiple squads, chapters, and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to prioritise, manage dependencies, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
