The Customer Growth and Retention Marketing Team play a crucial role in developing and deploying strategies to accelerate revenue generated from Prospects, our Investors and Members. By attracting new prospects and retaining our customers to become their Pension and Investment Platform of choice.

About your role
Stock Plan Services is a strategic priority for Fidelity. It provides global share incentive schemes for employees and supports the employer (sponsor) and their employees (participants) with reward and recognition.
This role will work with our colleagues in the US (who administer the stock plans or share awards), to provide financial education and investing services for employees based in the UK.
Our goal is to help them make the most of their share awards and create a better financial future. We will do this through Fidelity’s Personal Investing and Wealth Management services, including ISAs, Pensions (SIPP), guidance and advice services that will help us build lifelong relationships.
This role supports the strategy for our Stock Plan Services personal investing business. It’s vital in supporting the execution of the product marketing strategy for SPS, ensuring seamless collaboration across all marketing teams to achieve product-level and customer-level goals. The Marketing Manager will support the Senior Marketing Manager in planning, forecasting, performance tracking, analysis, and leadership reporting, alongside working with the acquisition, performance marketing, engagement and retention team to deploy targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
1. Product Marketing Strategy Development:
· Work with the wider business and marketing teams to support the development of the overarching product forecasting for the year with phased approach across each share save scheme.
· Supports the creation and execution of the product marketing strategy for SPS, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and delivers expected product-level and customer-level goals.
· Develop an integrated, overarching annual marketing plan across all teams, facilitating effective collaboration and execution across the wider marketing teams.
2. Cross-Team Collaboration:
· Work closely with broader marketing teams, consulting on their plans to ensure alignment with the overarching strategy and optimal performance.
· Support the running of the weekly content calendar calls where all teams feed in activity to ensure no crossover from a contact strategy and any delays are shared which may impact performance of your overall plans.
· Foster a collaborative environment to drive cohesive marketing efforts and shared success.
· Build excellent working relationships with key stakeholders across Fidelity and globally across our Stock Plan Services business, including those in more senior positions.
3. Performance Management and Reporting:
· Support the product-level performance tracking, planning, and analysis, providing upstream and downstream insights. You are not the owner of campaign MI, or post campaign analysis (PCAs), but you are the owner at a business level.
· Support in the preparation of leadership reports, detailing performance metrics, trends, and strategic recommendations.
4. Marketing Initiatives Deployment:
· Plan and execute product-specific marketing initiatives, own the content of the SPS product flat site pages and marketing collateral
· Support the development of the value proposition and product messaging for SPS participants.
· Work closely with the performance marketing team to optimise product journeys for both prospects and existing customers.
· Ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into the broader marketing strategy and deliver measurable results.
5. Competitor Analysis and Benchmarking:
· Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis and benchmarking, synthesising product and product marketing insights to inform strategic decisions.
· Identify market trends and opportunities to enhance our competitive positioning
· Aim to establish econometrics in and quarterly plan reforecasts in 2026.
Key Competencies & Experience:
Strategic Planning and Forecasting: Ability to aid in the development, planning, and forecasting of cohesive marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
Influencing, motivating and collaboration skills: Strong skills in working closely with various teams, providing guidance and consultation to ensure alignment with overarching performance targets.
Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in deploying targeted marketing initiatives tailored to specific audiences, understanding unique selling points, and crafting relevant messages.
Performance Analysis and interpretation: Ability to monitor, analyse, and report on product-level performance (upstream and downstream), offering actionable insights and recommendations based on thorough data analysis.

Competitor Analysis: Skill in conducting detailed competitor analysis and benchmarking to gain market insights and inform strategic decisions.
Stakeholder Management: Capacity to build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring collaborative efforts in achieving business objectives. Ability to influence and communicate with impact amongst wider stakeholders. Leveraging regular interactions, open communication/ feedback to ensure continuous prioritisation.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills utilised seamlessly to influence and collaborate with colleagues across marketing and broader teams, ensuring seamless integration of initiatives and optimising customer journeys.
Budget Management: Competence in managing budgets for marketing initiatives, ensuring efficient resource allocation and tracking expenditure to maximise return on investment.
Focus on Personal Development and Leadership Competency: Passion for personal development (technical expertise and core competencies), focused on keeping up to date with the latest product, industry and competency trends and best practice. Demonstrated ability to upskill others would be an advantage.
