As a Product Marketing Manager focused on Competitive Strategy & Customer Experience, you will be at the forefront of understanding our market position and ensuring our workstations deliver exceptional value to our customers. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive competitive intelligence program and acting as a key advocate for a customer-centric approach within the Product Management organization. Your insights will directly influence product development, marketing messaging, and sales enablement, driving significant competitive advantage and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Competitive program owner:
Develop and manage a robust competitive intelligence program, including the proactive monitoring and analysis of competitor activities, product announcements, and strategic initiatives.
Lead the immediate response to competitor announcements, providing timely and insightful analysis to internal stakeholders.
Conduct detailed, ongoing competitive analysis, identifying key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats across our product portfolio and the broader market.
Plan and execute in-depth evaluations and product teardowns of competitor workstations to uncover critical differentiation points in hardware, software, and user experience.
Maintain a comprehensive and easily accessible repository of competitive intelligence for use across product management, sales, and category teams.
Elevating product features to customer experience:
Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Planning teams to deeply understand product specifications and translate them into tangible customer benefits and value propositions.
Develop clear and compelling customer-centric messaging frameworks that articulate the "why" behind our product features and their impact on user workflows and productivity.
Work to accelerate the shift from a purely technical, specs-focused approach to a more profound understanding of customer needs, pain points, and desired outcomes.
Partner with New Product Introduction (NPI) and Worldwide Marketing (WWM) teams to ensure customer-centric language and value propositions are effectively integrated into all marketing and sales content.
Incorporate customer insights and feedback to inform product development and ensure alignment with evolving user expectations.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in product marketing, product management, or a related field.
Knowledge & Skills
• Strong understanding of the workstations or high-performance computing market is a significant advantage.
• Proven ability to analyze market research and customer insights data.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and global environment.
• Experience working with global teams and markets.
• Ability to learn and understand complex technical information.
• Proficiency in utilizing marketing automation tools.

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
