We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for Clearwater’s Hedge Fund and Asset Management segment, with a primary focus on our Order Management and Portfolio Management (OMS/PMS) platform.
This role is responsible for positioning, differentiating, and bringing to market Clearwater's OMS and PMS capabilities for hedge funds and asset managers across strategies and asset classes. You will translate sophisticated front-to-middle office workflows into clear, compelling value propositions for portfolio managers, traders, and operations leaders.
You will partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Client Services, and the broader Marketing team to drive adoption, pipeline, and competitive wins—while serving as the voice of the hedge fund and asset management market back into product strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Platform Positioning & Messaging
Own positioning and messaging for Clearwater’s OMS and PMS platform for hedge funds and asset managers
Articulate value across portfolio construction, order lifecycle management, execution workflows, real-time positions, and P&L
Develop differentiated narratives for portfolio managers, traders, COOs, and heads of operations.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution
Lead GTM planning for new OMS/PMS capabilities, enhancements, and integrations
Translate product roadmaps into customer-ready value propositions, use cases, and launch assets
Partner with Brand, Demand Gen, and Field Marketing on segment-specific programs and launches
Competitive Differentiation
Position Clearwater clearly against incumbent and next-generation OMS/PMS platforms
Develop competitive messaging, battlecards, and proof points grounded in real trading and portfolio workflows
Enable Sales to confidently articulate Clearwater’s strengths in scalability, integration, data integrity, and operational efficiency
Sales & Client Enablement
Build high-impact sales assets including pitch decks, demo narratives, solution briefs, and customer stories
Support strategic opportunities and executive-level conversations with tailored OMS/PMS messaging
Equip Sales and Client Services to sell into complex, multi-strategy hedge fund environments
Market & Customer Insight
Develop deep understanding of hedge fund and asset management operating models, strategies, and buyer personas
Gather and synthesize customer feedback, win/loss insights, and market trends
Influence product priorities by representing validated market needs back to Product Management
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
7+ years of experience in Product Marketing or related roles in fintech, capital markets
Direct experience with OMS, PMS, or front-to-middle office investment platforms
Strong understanding of hedge fund and asset manager workflows, including trading, portfolio management, and operations
Proven ability to translate complex, real-time platforms into compelling market narratives
Strong competitive instincts and executive communication skills
BA/BS required
What we offer:
Salary Range
$130,000.00 - $165,000.00 + bonus
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
