Your Title: Product Manager
Job Location: Europe Remote
Our Department: Transporeon
About Us:
Trimble is an industrial technology company transforming the way the world works by delivering solutions that enable our customers to thrive. We create technologies that connect the digital and physical worlds, helping our customers increase productivity, quality, safety, and sustainability. From purpose-built products to enterprise-level solutions, our technology empowers professionals in construction, geospatial, government, transportation, and more.
T&L: In the Transportation & Logistics segment, our solutions make it safer, simpler and more efficient to move freight—bringing together a global network of shippers, carriers, brokers and 3PLs.
What You Will Do
Product Discovery & Research: Conduct in-depth analysis with internal stakeholders and engineers. Translate these into "jobs-to-be-done" that ensure our platform services solve real problems.
Strategy Contribution: Assist in defining the 12-month vision for our platform services. You will help identify which "shared services" (e.g., Auth, Messaging, Data Pipelines) will provide the highest ROI for the company.
Defining the Workflow: Identify workflows and user personas, develop decisions and business cases, and create Product Requirement Documents with use cases for the implementation team. Capture the details in the Product Requirement document that will handle all the possible use cases which are approved.
Adoption Guidelines: Create clear, user-friendly guidelines for adopters with phased milestones so the adoption journey can be mapped into the product roadmap.
Migration Orchestration: One of your biggest challenges will be moving internal customers from "Legacy" to "Next-Gen." You will design and execute migration strategies that minimize downtime and maximize developer happiness.
Facilitating Adoption: You aren't just building; you are selling. You will create documentation, run "brown bag" sessions, and develop onboarding paths to ensure high adoption of new platform features.
Data-Driven Prioritization: Manage the backlog using a mix of qualitative feedback and technical metrics (latency, uptime, developer velocity) to make hard trade-off decisions.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Experience: 2–6 years in Product Management, ideally with exposure to B2B, SaaS
Technical Fluency: You don't need to write code, but you must be comfortable discussing APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure. You understand that your "users" are often other engineers.
Strategic Communicator: You can take a complex technical roadmap and explain the "Why" to non-technical stakeholders in a way that generates excitement.
Critical Thinking & Solutioning: You can identify the most important functionalities for the team to build, plan how to execute them, and clearly explain the business value to the team for implementation.
The "Migration" Mindset: You understand that "building it" is only half the battle. You enjoy the puzzle of moving users from Point A to Point B smoothly.
Problem Solver: You thrive in ambiguity and enjoy the "discovery" phase of a product just as much as the delivery phase.
