DESCRIPTION:

As a Product Manager for the Transplant Diagnostics Division (TDX) at Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region, you will contribute to innovation and growth for our market-leading transplant diagnostics product portfolios while enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. You will manage end-to-end product lifecycle management, from strategy development through commercialization and optimization, specifically for the TDX product line in the ANZ market. Additionally, you will have a sub-responsibility to support the Clinical Diagnostics Division (CDD) on a selection of product lines.

Working in a collaborative, global matrix organization, you'll partner with R&D, operations, marketing, sales and other cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products that solve customer challenges in transplant diagnostics. You'll conduct voice-of-customer research, define product requirements, develop business cases, coordinate product launches, and implement continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on the unique needs of the ANZ market. This role offers meaningful impact and visibility, with opportunities to shape product direction through data-driven insights and strategic thinking in both the TDX and CDD spaces.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3 years of experience in product management, marketing, or related commercial experience
  • Proven success in product lifecycle management, from concept through commercialization, preferably in the diagnostics or life sciences industry
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop compelling business cases and financial models
  • Excellence in gathering and synthesizing Voice of Customer insights, particularly in the ANZ market
  • Effective cross- functional collaboration and influencing skills in a matrix environment
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities across all organizational levels
  • Experience developing and executing product launch strategies and go-to- market plans for the ANZ region
  • Strong analytical and data- driven decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Project management skills to coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives across TDX and CDD product lines
  • Customer- centric mindset with deep understanding of market dynamics in transplant diagnostics and clinical diagnostics
  • Up to 30% travel required, including international and within the ANZ region
  • Knowledge of transplant diagnostics and clinical diagnostics domains, including relevant scientific/technical understanding
  • Understanding of quality and regulatory requirements for applicable markets in ANZ
  • Familiarity with the One Lambda brand and its product offerings is a plus
