We are seeking a highly experienced Agile Product Owner who will also serve as the dedicated Scrum Master for our Digital Integrations team. This role is accountable for both product ownership and delivery excellence, ensuring that our enterprise integration platform is continuously delivering high-value outcomes with speed, quality, and reliability.
This individual will own the product backlog, facilitate all Agile ceremonies, remove delivery impediments, and partner with engineering and architecture to evolve our AWS-based integration platform. The role requires strong technical fluency, leadership presence, and a passion for improving how teams deliver.
This role is expected to spend approximately 80% of time leading product delivery and 20% on people leadership responsibilities.
- Manage and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring the team is focused on the highest-value work aligned to business priorities.
- Translate business needs into well-defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Serve as the dedicated Scrum Master for the team by facilitating all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
- Proactively identify, escalate, and remove impediments that prevent the team from achieving sprint and release goals.
- Create and manage product delivery and release plans, tracking progress and communicating status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Partner with architecture and engineering to evolve the enterprise integration platform, leveraging deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based integration patterns.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery maturity, including sprint health metrics such as velocity, throughput, cycle time, WIP, and release quality.
- Lead coordination across product owners, delivery teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth dependency management.
- Promote adoption of automation and AI-assisted delivery practices to improve speed, quality, and cost efficiency of integration development.
- Regularly review and report on product progress and release quality.
- Directly manage and coach a team of engineers while remaining deeply embedded in day-to-day delivery.
