Role Title: Product Manager
Role Description:
The successful candidate will provide Project & Program Management Services as required, including, but not limited to, the following:
Key Responsibilities:
Development and management of the Integrated Product Management Plan (IPdMP) and Product Work Breakdown Structure. The IPdMP is a detailed plan that sets out how CASG intends to manage the Product(s) to meet the PDA availability and performance requirements. It sets out the approach to manage, coordinate and integrate the resources and activities required to sustain the Product(s) for the duration of the Product lifecycle through to disposal.
Development and management of the Program Integrated Schedule; The schedule will provide the Program overview and coordination of Products and Services;
Establish and document program Integration, communication and decision-making processes including co-ordination meeting routine with agreed TORs and process flows for decisions making;
Integral member in the development of the Annual Program Planning and Budget Control of Defence Management & Financial Plan (DMFP) products;
Support to Performance Reporting in accordance with CASG and Army Financial reporting processes;
Monthly and adhoc reporting as required;
Specialist advice to requirements definition, then support planning, monitoring and controlling of programs / products across the Capability Life Cycle;
Specialist advice in relations to issues, risks and new initiatives
Support procurement and invoicing through ERP, providing guidance and mentoring to other team members.
Essential Requirements:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate desirable outcomes Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to engage collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
The ability to understand contractual artifacts and contract management plans to procure goods and services to meet complex stakeholder needs.
Experience using ERP in the Defence environment.
Desirable Requirements:
A tertiary degree or higher in business, law, commerce, finance or similar
Required Security Clearance Level: NV1
Location: Brisbane or Canberra
Hours: 80hr per fortnight, as agreed with client.
