Flare is a leading provider of advanced benefits and onboarding solutions designed for the modern workplace. Backed by MYOB and serving over one million employees nationally, we're a fast-growing, diverse team of 100+ employees on a mission to make the world of work better, easier, and more beneficial for everyone.
About the role
As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering product experiences across the Flare portfolio. You will help define product strategy, own critical user journeys— such as onboarding, activation, conversion, and monetisation—and drive cross-functional execution to create meaningful outcomes for both users and the business.
This role blends strategy with hands-on product development. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, marketing, data, and commercial teams to bring new products and features to life, optimise product performance, and ensure seamless, customer-centric experiences across the Flare platform.
What you'll do
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Help articulate a clear product vision aligned with company goals, market trends, and customer needs.
- Customer Insight & Data-Driven Discovery: Run structured discovery and validation processes, translating insights into clear requirements and hypotheses.
- End-to-End Product Delivery: Lead product planning and delivery across multiple cross-functional teams - from discovery to development, launch, and iteration.
- Growth, Experimentation & Commercialisation Apply product-led growth strategies, activation frameworks, and retention methods to continually improve key metrics.
- Communication & Stakeholder Alignment: Communicate vision, roadmap, decisions, and insights clearly and frequently to the broader business.
- Performance & Ownership: Own and monitor success metrics for your product area, using data to guide decision-making and iteration.
What we're looking for
- Strong understanding of product-led growth strategies, experimentation frameworks, and growth metrics analysis using analytics tools.
- Expertise in onboarding best practices, activation funnels, retention levers, and monetisation mechanics.
- Experience with subscription models, pricing, packaging, or financial products is highly advantageous.
- Skilled in structured growth experiments with clear hypotheses, success criteria, and data interpretation, plus strong product discovery skills to turn customer insights into solutions.
- Comfortable collaborating across engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to drive growth initiatives.
